Touchdown Pass is a book is about a boy named Chip Hilton who plays college football for State. State starts the season at training camp and does not develope as a team as they should. Chip gets in a fight with another teammate and almost gets kicked off the team. During this time, Chip is working at the fullback position. This all changes when Coach Rockwell sees that Chip has a great arm and moves him to Quarterback right away. This puts a lot of pressure on Chip to lead a team that has been known to have a very good football history. At first this is very challenging for Chip but he leads his team through the regular season and into the playoffs. Going into the playoffs things aren't looking good for State though. Chip has a hurt shoulder and the team is down after a big loss at the end of the season to one of their rivals. In the State Championship Chip plays through the pain, and in the 4th quarter State is down and they need a touchdown to win. It's all up to Chip to lead his team to victory.

Rating-9 out of 10. I would rate this book a 9 because it is about one of my favorite sports and it had a great ending. The reason why I would take a point off is because in the middle of the book moves slowly but then it picks up in the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys football.
